Dr. Abouallaban is a Medical Director with over thirty years of clinical experience in the field of psychiatry. He is highly successful at building healthcare businesses from the ground up to become thriving organizations. He delivers global management and direction in providing quality mental health services with cross-functional and cross-cultural clinical professionals. Over the years, Dr. Abouallaban has delivered over 300 lectures and workshops on a variety of psychiatric and psychological topics in the USA, Syria, Turkey, and the UAE. He has received numerous awards and honors.
Dr. Abouallaban holds an MD and Master of Business Administration. He has served an Internship and Residency in Psychiatry at The Harvard South Shore Program, Harvard Medical School. He was also a Research Associate with the Duke Medical Center. He is Board Certified in Psychiatry and Neurology.
Dr. Abouallaban is currently the Medical Director and President of the Neuro Behavioral Center in Walpole, MA. He founded the Center and is building and developing it into a premier outpatient center focused on providing advanced and comprehensive treatment and adult psychiatric/psychology services.
Before this, Dr. Abouallaban built and developed the American Center for Psychiatry & Neurology in Abu Dhabi, UAE, as a subspecialist medical facility that provides quality, integrated, and comprehensive Neuroscience services in the UAE. The Center now has 200 employees who have provided over 70,000 patients with primary and specialized medical care involving psychiatry, neurology, psychology, and rehabilitation services.
Elizabeth Gaulin, PMHNP
Ms. Gaulin is a lifelong learner.
After becoming a registered nurse she raised 4 children. She went back to school earning a master's degree in nursing at Frontier Nursing University, graduating Sigma Theta Tau in 2019 and becoming board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). At the height of the Covid Pandemic, while working as an FNP, she realized the desperate need for psychiatric care across the age continuum. She enrolled at Liberty University and will be completing her Post Graduate Certificate to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) here at Neuro Behavioral Center.
Her background includes being certified as an emergency room nurse (CEN) for over 20 years. During that time she also worked in the Multiple Sclerosis Center and Infectious Disease Clinic. She brings a focused, holistic approach to working with patients and families. Her strengths include meeting people "where they are", helping them feel comfortable, and supported while getting comprehensive personal psychiatric care.
When she is not caring for her patients, she loves being outside, working in her yard. She has a passion for sunflowers. Ms Gaulin especially enjoys when people walk by and she can cut some down for them. She always offers guidance in preserving the seeds and planting them in the next season.
Amy Gribauskas, PMHNP
Amy Gribauskas is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 3 years of experience in mental health and substance use disorders. She went to school at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) for her Bachelor of Science Degree. In 2021, Amy decided to pursue a Master’s Degree at MCPHS as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. While Amy attended her Master’s program, she worked as a floor nurse and charge nurse position. She gained valuable experience in an inpatient detox hospital, treating acute patients for various types of substance use disorders. Amy completed over 450 clinical hours with PMHNPs and a psychiatrist. In addition, she completed over 180 hours working with therapists and social workers providing psychotherapy.
Amy has great communication with her patients and aims to provide holistic care, valuing the connection between the mind and body. She believes this begins with forming a therapeutic relationship with all her patients. She is compassionate and caring. Amy provides medication management services including depression and anxiety disorders, ADHD, and PTSD. Amy’s hobbies include spending quality time with family, reading and running.
Joseph W. Kelly, LMHC
Joseph W. Kelly is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. He completed his bachelor's degree at Bridgewater State University in Business and his master of arts in clinical psychology from Bridgewater State University. Mr. Kelly has over 29 years of experience in the field of mental health counseling, working in both major hospitals and clinical settings. Some of the places he has worked were Faulkner Hospital, Pembroke Hospital, Westwood Lodge, Boston Health care, and South Bay Mental Health.
Mr. Kelly's expertise is in individual therapy, crisis intervention, and anger management for adults. He is highly experienced in the treatment of depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, substance abuse, dual diagnosis, and anger issues. Mr. Kelly strives to give the highest quality of care while helping the patient take a positive step towards healing and growth.
Ekaterina Filatov, PMHNP
Ekaterina (Katia) Filatov is a multilingual Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 9 years of clinical experience in mental health and substance abuse treatment. She graduated from Regis College with a Master of Science in Nursing and received her Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from Curry College in Milton, MA.
Katia provides psychiatric medication management and therapy. Her experiences covers a variety of conditions such as depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, ADHD and substance use disorders.
Aliyah Banister, LICSW
Aliyah Banister is a Licensed Clinical Therapist. She received her master’s in Clinical Social Work from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor in 2010. She has a plethora of experience in the field and school settings as well as clinical.
Aliyah has worked with hundreds of children, youth, adults, couples, and families who struggle with trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, abuse, divorce, relationship conflict, identity, etc. She specializes in children, youth, and families.
Aliyah’s approach to counseling is eclectic as well as holistic. Her aim is to help clients understand their past, how it may affect their present, and develop coping mechanisms to foster a brighter future. Ms. Banister also authors and provides training, workshops, and programming in the community on psycho-social topics that affect marginalized communities.
Asma Ahmed, ANP, PMHNP
Ms. Ahmed has 20+ years of experience as a nurse practitioner, having worked with special populations, including incarcerated individuals and military veterans. She has a background in primary care, urology, men’s health, and weight management.
Asma prioritizes establishing therapeutic relationships with her patients. She provides comprehensive psychiatric care, artful medication management, and supportive psychotherapy.
Ms. Ahmed earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology at UMass Boston and her Master of Science in Nursing at the MGH Institute for Health Professions. She is dual-certified as an adult and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.
Oluwatoyosi Oyebode, ANP, PMHNP
Oluwatoyosi Oyebode is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with 5+ years of experience. She is qualified to practice psychiatry; her practice specialties include (but are not limited to) ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, mood disorders, and substance abuse. She is passionate about providing quality, compassionate, and comprehensive mental health services to adults.
Oluwatoyosi possesses solid clinical skills enhanced by the natural ability to build rapport with patients. She follows evidence-based guidelines blended with personal observation and intuition. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Curry College. She then obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from Regis College. Oluwatoyosi hobbies include reading, playing the piano, kayaking, hiking, and spending quality time with her family.

Randi Rose FNP
Randi Rose is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of advanced practice experience caring for patients across the lifespan. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Boston University and spent 15 years working with expectant families as a Professional Labor Assistant (Doula) and Certified Childbirth Educator before returning to school for nursing. She worked as a RN in pediatrics while obtaining her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Northeastern University in 2014 after which she transitioned to the Urgent Care setting. Over the past decade Randi has cared for patients presenting with acute medical and mental health concerns in addition to taking on clinic leadership roles including Clinical Nurse Manager and Chief. Throughout her career, Randi has become increasingly aware of the role psychiatric and mental health concerns contribute to the overall health of the individual. She has also noted the discomfort that many medical providers experience when faced with managing a patient’s mental health needs. To bridge this gap, Randi completed a post- master’s certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at UMass Amherst to provide competent, comprehensive and patient-centered care. She strives to develop a trusting and collaborative relationship with her patients, and to provide care that is sensitive, holistic and empowering.
Vivens Ulysse, PMHNP-BC
Vivens Ulysse is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with 13 years of experience in critical care, neurosurgery, vascular surgery, and outpatient psychiatry. He is also board-certified in critical care (CCRN) and an infusion nurse. Ulysse obtained his Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at Mass General Institute of Health Professions (MGH-IHP) in 2010. He subsequently worked in various acute inpatient settings as a registered nurse, delivering culturally congruent care and learning invaluable bedside and critical care skills. He spent most of his nursing career working for the VA Boston Healthcare System, providing competent care to our nation’s heroes.
As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), Ulysse’s practice specialties include ADHD, PTSD, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and substance use disorders. He is passionate about providing comprehensive, compassionate, and culturally competent mental health services to adolescents and adults.
Mr. Ulysse is an avid runner who loves to play the bass and piano. He enjoys vacationing with his wife in the Caribbean, reading, grilling, and volunteering at local shelters.
Angela Tong Mulkern, PMHNP
Angela Tong Mulkern is a wam and caring provider with over twenty years of experience working in the clinical setting as a registered nurse, health educator, and rape crisis counselor for Planned Parenthood in upstate New York where she received her bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from the University of Rochester. She received her nursing degree from Curry College, Milton MA and graduate degree in nursing from Regis College, Weston MA. Her background includes working as a certified medical surgical nurse on the renal subspecialty floor, intensive care unit at Boston Medical Center, Faster Paths to Treatment, and the Roundhouse Stabilization and Transitional Care Clinic in Boston, MA for the management and treatment of substance use disorders. She is highly motivated to provide empowering support and individualized care for her patients with great sensitivity and appreciation for personal and cultural values. Unconditionally accepting of patients, families, past lives, and experiences. She enjoys spending her free time with her four children and bloodhounds in her backyard and playing the piano. She loves watching hockey and hopes to play in an orchestra again one day.
