Elizabeth Gaulin

Ms. Gaulin is a lifelong learner. After becoming a registered nurse she raised 4 children. She went back to school earning a master's degree in nursing at Frontier Nursing University, graduating Sigma Theta Tau in 2019 and becoming board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). At the height of the Covid Pandemic, while working as an FNP, she realized the desperate need for psychiatric care across the age continuum. She enrolled at Liberty University and will be completing her Post Graduate Certificate to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) here at Neuro Behavioral Center. Her background includes being certified as an emergency room nurse (CEN) for over 20 years. During that time she also worked in the Multiple Sclerosis Center and Infectious Disease Clinic. She brings a focused, holistic approach to working with patients and families. Her strengths include meeting people "where they are", helping them feel comfortable, and supported while getting comprehensive personal psychiatric care. When she is not caring for her patients, she loves being outside, working in her yard. She has a passion for sunflowers. Ms Gaulin especially enjoys when people walk by and she can cut some down for them. She always offers guidance in preserving the seeds and planting them in the next season.
